2007 Moric Grüner Veltliner St. Georgener

From Burgenland, a hugely different grüner: nose is marine, watermelon, honey, orange marmalade, Tang®, tangy, pickled. Palate is concentrated, a lot of depth, a bit bigger than the acidity can manage all at once, but allows for palate-morphing. Juicy yet savoury, a touch of vanilla showing that the barrique time is still working itself out. A completely different expression.
